Apple Finally Unveils its CarPlay Innovation

You might have heard lots of rumors regarding Apple’s new technology for car experience. Now, Apple puts a lid on them by announcing its new CarPlay innovation that could change the trends for upcoming time. Let’s get into what exactly it means.

One thing embarrassing for iPad as they can’t put their hands on Apple CarPlay, the system only requires iPhone users with lightning port connector, meaning iPhone 5 or higher model is applicable for this new car technology. Though, Apple’s new iPad range supports lightning connector but Apple didn’t highlight in the list of approved devices. So, we can expect it only for iPhone users.

Let’s find how it works? The Apple’s CarPlay lets the users to see some of the basic functions right on their car’s dashboard. There you’ll find iTunes, Siri, Messeges and Maps. Furthermore, it ensures the hands-free calls and voice mails while having busy hands on the steering wheel. To use any features, you need to touch dashboard’s screen just as you do on your iPhone.

The Apple’s CarPlay technology implies on select auto makers which usually count in luxury class such as Ferrari, Mercedes Benz and Volvo. All of these manufacturers will produce their first CarPlay-based vehicles in upcoming days in the Geneva. Other automobile makers including Toyota, BMW, Honda, GM, Jaguar Land Rover, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Kia, Peugeot, Nissan, Suzuki, Subaru and Ford are also interested in this technology. But, Apple didn’t confirm anything with these manufacturers.
