Apple Updates its iBeacon System

Apple is improving customer service and GPS tracking to the whole new level with iBeacon. The iBeacon system is a new system which Apple is applying in its all retail stores.

The new feature sends push notifications and text messages to the users about Apple devices such as when your new iPhone is ready to take. Above all this, whenever you go into the Apple Store, you will be awarded a series of notifications and text messages offering and describing assistance on your location in Apple store.

iBeacon is concentrating on the improvement of customer experience by solving the queries that can be observed by a user while visiting Apple store. Apple wants to make it more efficient by offering a comprehensive information in its store.

The program will have coupons, product promotions and demonstrations. It’ll also let you put a shopping cart onto your handset when you’re in the  store, which is really good for the Apple users as they can shop with more improved options. Other organizations are also working on iBeacon for their own interest.

When you go into the  store, you will need to make sure that your handset’s wifi is ON as well as Bluetooth because iBeacon depend on low energy Bluetooth technology to detect your proximity.

FunderCloud Comes With Kickstarter and Indiegogo

We use lots of apps to browse news, videos and music as they become a need of present day world. The FunderCloud makes a new addition to the App Store previous month which lets you thumb through projects from both Indiegogo and Kickstarter.

The recently released app has an iOS 7 inspired design which shows listings from two well-known crowdfunding websites. This application will list a firehouse of most famous projects, and you can filter this list by different category and new projects which are ending soon. There is also a search option for finding projects by keyword.

FunderCloud Comes With Kickstarter and Indiegogo

While viewing a listing, the FunderCloud displays the content from a particular source website and shows it in the application. On the Kickstarter projects, you will be given a link to download Kickstarter app as FunderCloud is just an aggregator, there’re no persistent Log-in options within the application. You can support a project  from within the application, but is operated by the Indiegogo or KickStarter website. The FunderCloud does not perform as a management tool which tracks your projects, it’s just a browser.

Now, you can download FunderCloud through the Apple App Store for only US$1.99. It’s a kind of double shot offering you access to the both Indiegogo and Kickstarter at the same time which is more easy than browsing them separately.

iOS 7 Acceptance Increases than Android 4.4 KitKat

Android device users are also as excited as the iOS users to grab the latest OS for their device. Though, most Android handsets cannot be upgraded unless the carrier shows a green signal for the new operating system, and normally it takes long time. Apple’s OS model avoids wireless network operators, which gives an edge to Apple over Android, that’s why iOS 7 acceptance increases than the Android 4.4 KitKat.

iOS 7 Acceptance Increases than Android 4.4 KitKat

You would to be astonished to know that about more than half of the iOS users updated to the new iOS 7 in the North America within 7 days after the release, according to the Chitika Insights (an online advertising network). After 2.5 months later, the adoption rate of iOS 7 in the North America has increased up to 70%, giving it an edge over Android and a title of the fastest adopted operating system so far.

iOS 7 Acceptance Increases than Android 4.4 KitKat

iPhone users seem quite quicker in adopting the new OS than the iPad users. After detailed speculation done by the Chitika Insights conducted between 25 October and 18 November, 74.1% of the iPhone owners have switched to the iOS 7, while only 63% of the iPad owners have updated to iOS 7. Amazingly, iOS 6 is still in the air and being used on 22.4% of the iPhones and 24.6% of the iPads. A very minor number (2.6%) of iPhone owners is still relying on iOS 5 while 8.8% of the iPad users are running iOS 5.

iOS 7 Acceptance Increases than Android 4.4 KitKat

The adoption rate of Android OS remains far behind to that of iOS 7, as Google says in its newly released monthly breakdown stats, Google’s Android KitKat 4.4 has only 1.1% adoption rate of the Android devices. It’s important to keep in mind that Chitika conducted adoption rate only in the North America, while Google does it worldwide.
