Apple Finally Unveils iOS 8 – What Comes New?
After a long time of hearing rumors, Apple finally announces its new mobile operating system, the iOS 8 at its annual WWDC event. There’s no surprise as we were expecting the new version of iOS. Anyhow, the new iOS 8 brings a significant overhaul and comprises a lot of new features. Interactive notification is one of the main features being discussed around the corner. It allows the users to respond to any notification without opening the application where it comes from.
Apple also improves multitasking app screen that can be accessed by double-tapping on the Home Button. Moreover, the screen shows off a scrolling strip of the most recent contacts where you can message, FaceTime or call your buddy.
You’ll find keyboard more predictive in the new iOS 8 as it might remind you of Android. Now, users can have more accurate suggestions for what they may be typing. The suggestions will be according to what you are talking to. For instance, the sentence, ‘’The weather was….’’ might get the suggestions like ‘’awesome/epic’’.
There’s a new Continuity feature in iOS 8 that works across iOS and Mac devices. Any message or document you open on iPhone can now relay to a Mac or iPad quickly. Apple puts a large focus covering health issues. So the new operating system includes a service named HealthKit to let users track their important health data like calorie consumption and blood pressure rates.
The new iOS 8 will come to iPhones and iPads later this year when Apple announces its next big thing, the iPhone 6. Apart from iOS 8, Apple also introduced OS X 10.10 Yosemite, its new desktop operating system.
