iPhone 6 rumours

The rumor mill isn’t going to stop until Apple releases its next-generation iPhone 6 possibly in the month of September. This time, a new report at G for Games appeared on the web saying Apple’s new iPhone 6 could be cheaper than its predecessor, iPhone 5S.

According to the report, the 32GB variant of iPhone 6 will have a price tag of $850 while the 64GB version will cost around $1010. The 16GB and 64GB versions of current iPhone 5S cost $850 and $1109 respectively. We can see a clear price difference between the ancestor and successor of Apple’s flagship device.

The report may or may not be real as Apple hasn’t disclosed anything regarding its next flagship device. Anyhow, some analysts believe that the Cupertino-based company is planning to release two phones as it did last year. There’ll be two phones based on different screen sizes; one with 5.5-inch and other with 4.7-inch display. The large one will have an extra $100 compared to the 4.7-inch model. Both of the models will combine next-generation A8 processor, fingerprint sensor, improved camera and iOS 8.

The report further added that it’s most likely that Apple will be announcing its all-new iPhone 6 on September 19. It comes to mind when we look back at Apple’s previous releases. The iPhone 5S and 5C were launched on 20th of September last year while iPhone 5 was released on September 21 in 2012. It looks like Apple is dropping the date every year; iPhone 5 on Sept. 21 and iPhone 5S on Sept. 20.
